This is a small operator preview. You can enter, open the dashboard, install the extension, use @command, build and export .ankl objects, and explore the archive and DADA layer. Some economic rails — the $ANKLE token buyback/burn — are staged but not live yet. This preview is for people who want to help shape the system before the full public launch.
ANKLE is a place you use, not just a page you read. You can browse the world for free, look at the archive, read the work, and see what the system makes. That surface is open.
But the machine itself, generating images, building pages, running the command terminal, collecting art, costs real compute. So operating ANKLE runs on ankle. You never need a crypto wallet to take part.
The browser extension is your half of the system. As you move around the web it can quietly keep what you see, so your paired agent has memory and context of where you have been. That capture is private by default.
Captured pages go to your own private ledger only. They are not posted anywhere. Nothing becomes public on /surf unless you open it and explicitly publish it yourself. The same rule holds for every user — nothing leaves your ledger unless you authored that choice.
Ankle is how you do anything that consumes resources: AI generation, the command terminal, building, and collecting paintings. You buy them with a card. One rate, all the way through: 12,500 ankle = $1.
No wallet, no crypto knowledge required. Ankle is simply the platform currency.
The gallery is the credibility anchor: 200 original works, 16 × 20, acrylic on canvas, each with its own page and provenance. You collect a painting with ankle, the same currency that runs everything else.
ANKLE is not a launch, it is an institution being built in public. There is a token, $ANKLE, but it is the byproduct of the system being used, not the reason to be here. A share of every ankle purchase quietly buys it on the open market. You do not need it to use ANKLE or to collect the art.
The order is deliberate: Art → System → Ankle → Token.
